You never know
This week, I want to talk to you about something important—something that many of us often forget. We all have plans. It's natural to make plans, to think ahead, and to believe that we can control our future. But the truth is, you never know what's going to happen. Life is unpredictable. You can make all the plans you want, but you can't control every outcome.
Maybe you've been in a relationship for years and think you know where it's headed. But tomorrow, you might find out that your partner doesn't feel the same way anymore. Or perhaps you've been looking forward to a skiing trip next week, but then you break your leg the day before. It could even be something as simple as planning to make scrambled eggs for dinner, only to realize you're out of eggs when you get home.
The reality is that life is full of surprises, and sometimes those surprises can be unsettling. We all like to think we can control the course of our lives, but we can't always predict what's around the corner. Whether it's a change in your job, a sudden health issue, or unexpected news from a friend, things are constantly shifting.
But here's the thing: while you can't control everything, you can control how you respond. Accept that life will always bring changes and uncertainty. Embrace the unexpected. The good news is that, five years from now, most of the things you worry about today won't even matter. The challenges and surprises of today will fade into the past, and you'll look back and realize that everything worked out, even if it didn't go according to plan.
So, live in the moment. Don't stress over the things you can't control. Focus on what you can change and accept that sometimes, the best moments in life come from the unexpected.
